18 Months and Growing

Monday, November 26th, 2007

Zack had his 18 month well baby check today. He is doing really well developmentally (he’s a chatterbox and says something like 40 words and has begun to put simple phrases together). Physically he has fabulous hand-eye coordination and loves “fixing” things in addition to building with his blocks. In fact, the blocks are his favorite activity with daddy!

Also, he is 23lbs 10oz and almost 33 inches long. He’s still tall and skinny. He’s in the 55th percentile for height and between the 10th and 15th for weight, though he did move up in the percentiles at this appointment. He got his flu shot too–so hopefully he’ll be extra healthy this winter.

Here are a few very recent photos:

Old Times…

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Just wanted to share a few photos I uploaded to Flickr yesterday. A bunch of Jeremy and I from 1997 through, oh, 2004 or so. They are kind of funny. And wow, yeah, we were young. In no particular order…

Bigger Every Day

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

Some new photos of Zack below.  Nothing great to report on.  He’s been sick lately - he has/had laryngitis of all things and completely lost his voice.  That voice usually includes a painful screech.  It seems to have disappeared for the time beings, Jeremy and I are NOT complaining.

While at the hospital for his illness, we found out that Zack is about 25lbs.  He’s growing!  Finally!

A Few New Ones

Thursday, November 8th, 2007

Zack is talking up a storm. Of course he’s also a screamer…so…

He is having fun moving his stool from one light switch to the next and from the bed to the faucet. He loves twisting and turning and pushing. Zack is also running in place when he gets excited and twirling in circles. I also have to get a photo of him with his favorite beads. They are Mardi Gras beads (straight from New Orleans, baby) and he looooves them. He’s got them in white and in green.

In the meantime, here are a few new pictures to (hopefully) enjoy.
