Zack in the Tub & Zack at Bedtime

Monday, September 24th, 2007

New photos for your enjoyment. Zack is getting so big and so…well…smart. He enjoys “fixing” things and is forever working with tools, pushing buttons, twisting knobs, and generally being his father’s son. From what I hear this is exactly what Jeremy was like as a toddler. Zack is also growing more teeth and hair–maybe eventually we’ll have to get him a haircut. For now he’s a little full on the sides and back.

Here are some pics.

I Can Complain…

Wednesday, September 19th, 2007

Darn my thyroid.  Darn it all.  In March my TSH was up to over 24 despite being on a fairly high dose of Synthroid.  My dose got upped and I thought all was well.  I should have known better.  It’s still at over 13.  Normal (or where the docs want it) is in the 2-3 range.  I’m being upped again to 125mcg.  Still not that high, but apparently my thyroid is making a run for the border.  I doubt I’ll die with the damn thing intact.  It’s shriveling up as I type.  But maybe I can lose another 20lbs quickly (like the change from 75-100mcg did for me).  Maybe ;)

Camping is F-U-N!

We went to Mackinaw City for camping this past Labor Day weekend. It was a good time. Zack enjoyed himself, the weather was nice, and we didn’t spend *too* much moolah. Here’s a little taste of the fun we had.

And yes, those are indeed monkeys on his shirt.
