Zack has had a busy few days. He’s been playing with his cousins and visiting lots of family. Recently Michigan has also figured out it is spring and the weather is turning around. We’re supposed to have a few warm days–hell has probably gotten a thin layer of ice by now.
Anyway, here are a few pictures of his recent escapades.
I went to get into the shower, looked down, and found my shoe on the bathtub! I guess Zack really enjoys dropping things. I never really expected to discover my shoe in that particular location.
After a very long struggle with Alzheimer’s my grandfather died this morning at 12:30am. He led a long, loving, and full life. These last few years (especially since my grandmother’s death) were trying for all parties involved. He was my last grandparent. As hard as his death was, his final years of life were even more difficult. I prefer to remember him in life, when I was a child and he still remembered me.
I wish my son would have known his great grandparents but that was never a possibility. I now cry, not because of his death but because of the great memories I have of his life.
We were just at Sears today! Here they are–the good, bad, and…uh…well…good!
I’m very pleased with how they came out, especially the ones with the yellow background. My only request to the photographer was that he wasn’t on a blue background since that has been the case quite a bit in the past. She did well, I think!
Zack on the other hand was a madman. He wouldn’t sit still, wouldn’t stand still, and generally was crazy. But as it turns out he liked the base of the “1″ so he at least paused for those pics
