Seven.Caged.Tigers

It has been an eventful Christmas for my family. I think we had about five days of eating, present opening, and family fun. Of course all that “fun” makes for a lot of stress and poor little Zack is less than chipper about it all. He’s of course pleased with all his new presents and toys but sleeping is not something he is doing well now. When he does fall asleep he’s a zen master.

I got plenty of lovely things–ranging from clothes and books to crystal (LOTS of crystal!) to cosmetics. Jeremy acquired a lot of goodies too. Zack got books, toys, stuffed animals, puzzles, ornaments, and clothing to name a few non-specific things. The boy certainly doesn’t do without.

Here are a few new shots of Zack looking (mostly) happy. I’m enjoying my gift from Jeremy (a brand new Sigma flash for my camera) and snapping even more photos then before. I apologize in advance for my obsessiveness.

My dear Zacky now has two front teeth (on the bottom, of course). He is also crawling EVERYWHERE and getting into EVERYTHING. To add insult to injury, he has also gotten up on his feet a few times. He’s bound and determined to walk–I just know it. I can’t fathom how awful it is (or will be?) to have an 8 month old walking. I hope I don’t find out.

In any case, Zack also continues to be the cutest baby on Earth. He is busy enjoying his presents and has learned to open them (just prior to eating the paper). Enjoy a few new pictures. By the way, have you noticed I dress him almost exclusively in stripes? Gah. I need to get creative.

Well, Zack has a tooth.  It broke through some time last night.  He awoke this morning tongueing the new discovery.  It’s all very cute.  He’s not particularly burdened by the “pain” of new teeth.  In fact, he got a shot today and that didn’t even bother him.  He’s a little trooper.

I was so going to write off ANTM if Melrose won.  I really was.  But she didn’t so all is right in the world.  All hail the reigning ANTM champion CariDee English!!

Zack continues to shock me with his cuteness. He’s 7 months old today and has now begun to crawl. It’s fast and it is ugly but he is crawling. He also loves things with buttons so I picked him up a phone and keychain today. Hopefully that will keep him away from out phones and remote and maybe even computers. Who knows.
